Genzyme To Acquire Diagnostic Division of Diagnostic Chemicals Limited
Genzyme Corp. and Diagnostic Chemicals Limited (DCL) announced that they have reached an agreement under which Genzyme will acquire the diagnostic division of DCL. With this agreement, Genzyme is acquiring DCL's line of more than 50 formulated clinical chemistry reagents, which generated approximately $21 million in revenue during the company's 2007 fiscal year.
