Ultra N-geneous® HDL

Product Overview:

The Ultra N-geneous® HDL cholesterol method is based on a new principle known as the Accelerator Selective Detergent Methodology. In the first reagent, non-HDL, free cholesterol is broken down by cholesterol oxidase (CO) in an accelerated enzyme reaction. In the second reagent, a detergent specifically solubilizes HDL, allowing for the reaction of HDL and cholesterol esterase (CE), yielding a product which reacts with a chromogenic coupler to develop color for the quantitative determi-nation of HDL-C.
